01 · Overview

FusionLoop will move hubbardswim.com to Framer in about four weeks, built to keep every address you already rank for, for a fixed $15,600.

Chris Newman introduced us, and I'm grateful he did. This plan is built around one goal: move your site to Framer without losing what you've built in Google.

We design right on the real site, carry over all your blog, staff and lesson content, and put the time where the risk is: keeping your search traffic and your enrollment links working on launch day.

02 · Why now

Why move this winter.

The best time to move a website is when the move costs the least and pays back the soonest. For Hubbard, that's now.

01

Settled before summer searches start

Every migration comes with a short adjustment while Google recrawls. Starting now puts launch in December, so that adjustment happens in the quieter months, and the new site is settled well before families start searching for summer lessons in the spring.

02

Parents ask AI tools, not just Google

More families now ask ChatGPT, Google's AI answers or Siri for "swim lessons near me." Those tools quote the sites that clearly say who they are, where they are and when they're open. Today, none of your four locations does that in a way they can read.

03

The basics are missing, and they're quick wins

  • hubbardswim.com/robots.txt returns "not found," so search engines get no instructions.
  • hubbardswim.com/sitemap.xml returns "not found," so Google has to guess which pages exist.
  • The homepage has no structured data: no address, hours or phone for any location that a search tool can read.

Each one is checkable in a browser in ten seconds, and each is fixed as part of the move.

04

Your team updates the site all year

Prices, hours, staff and seasonal programs change constantly at a four-location school. On Framer, your team edits the page they're looking at and publishes in seconds, with no plugins or servers to look after.

03 · What doesn't change

Your rankings, your links, your enrollment flow.

The cheapest way to rebuild a site is to start over. It's also the fastest way to lose years of search traffic. We do the opposite: every page that exists today exists on launch day, at the same address.

  • Every blog postAll ~132 stay at their current /blog/post/… address.
  • Every core page/phoenix, /learntoswim, /pricing and the rest keep their paths. Anything that does move gets a permanent redirect.
  • Every enrollment linkiClassPro portals for all four locations, the Level Finder quiz, Special Needs inquiry, email signup and waiver PDF.
  • Your trackingGoogle Analytics and Tag Manager carried over, plus conversion tracking on Register, calls, forms and portal clicks for each location.

04 · Protecting your rankings

How we keep Google on your side.

No one can guarantee a perfect migration. What a careful migration can do is keep Google seeing the same pages, so nothing gives it a reason to rank them differently.

Google ranks individual web addresses. Each one carries its content, its title and the links pointing to it from other sites. Redesigns lose traffic for a handful of predictable reasons: addresses change without redirects, old pages get dropped, titles and content get rewritten, or a technical setting gets left behind. Our plan closes each of those gaps.

01

Same addresses

Every blog post stays at its /blog/post/… addressCore pages and all 11 blog category pages keep their pathsEach page and post matched to its current address before launch
02

Permanent redirects for anything that moves

Old aliases and any changed addresses mapped one to oneA permanent redirect passes the old page's standing to the new oneOld links and bookmarks still land
03

Same content, same titles

Posts move word for wordPage titles and descriptions carried overEvery item checked against the original
04

Proof before and after launch

Every current address listed before we startYour top pages recorded from Google Search ConsoleEach old address re-checked after launch30 days of Search Console monitoring
05

The fixes your site is missing

A sitemap Google can readA robots fileBusiness details for all four locationsFAQ and article markup

A short wobble while Google recrawls is normal after any migration. Because your site is missing the basics in step 05, the likely outcome is flat to better, not just "not worse."

05 · The platform

Why Framer.

WordPresscompared withFramer

We've built sites on both. WordPress earned its place, and it still runs a huge share of the web, including Camp Hubbard. But in our opinion it isn't the right foundation for where the web is heading. That's our view, and we stand by it.

  • A newer, lighter foundationWordPress dates back to 2003, and two decades of add-ons tend to weigh sites down. Framer is newer and built lean, so pages stay fast.
  • Less to look afterFewer moving parts means less upkeep, fewer things that can break, and a site that stays in good shape between updates.
  • Ready for how families search nowMore parents find businesses through AI answers as well as Google. Fast, clean, well-organized sites are the ones those tools favor.
  • From experience, not theoryHaving built and maintained both, we've found Framer the better fit for our clients, especially for upkeep and everyday edits.

Here are three Framer sites that show what's possible:

07 · Timeline

About four weeks.

The clock starts once we have the access and content listed below. The full staging site is ready for your review at the end of week 3, and the new site launches at the end of week 4. If something arrives late, the dates move by the same number of days.

Week 1Map and start.

Kickoff call, every address on the current site listed, rankings recorded, and the design system and homepage underway.

Week 2Your first look.

You review the homepage on the real site. All core, lesson and location pages get built.

Week 3Everything in place.

Migration finished and checked, SEO work and connections done, testing complete. Full staging site ready for you.

Week 4Launch.

Second feedback round, final fixes, domain switch-over and staff training. Then 14 days of free fixes and a search check at 30 days.

The one thing that most often delays a project like this is waiting on feedback, so we ask for review responses within 3 business days.

08 · Cost breakdown

Where the investment goes.

The $15,600 is split across the six parts by the work each one needs. The price only changes if you ask for something outside this list.

The fixed fee includes two rounds of feedback. Anything outside the scope is quoted in writing first, at $125 an hour, so the price never changes without your approval. Hubbard pays for its own Framer site plan directly, at Framer's current rate; it replaces what you pay to host the current site. iClassPro, JotForm and Constant Contact stay your accounts. Once the final payment clears, the site, design and content are yours, in your own Framer account.

The service agreement spells all of this out. Read it, sign it, and we start.
